1-3/4" Welded Frames
16 gauge galvanneal steel is fully welded across the visible side of both faces. Exposed welds are ground, finished and prime painted. Each frame will have two spreader bars tack welded in place. The spreader bars are used to square the frame and keep it stable during shipping to site.
  • Fire rating: up to 180 minute
  • Galvanneal steel is matte grey and ready for the finish paint - primer is not required.
  • Throat size should match wall thickness. It is common for throat sizes to exceed wall thickness by 1/8". Caulking is used to fill any additional spacing.
